He was also quoted by Xinhua News on the war crimes trial of former Liberian president Charles Taylor in The Hague.

November 9, 2007 Professor David Crane recently contributed an article to the International Herald Tribune titled, "The Child as a War Criminal", concerning the recruitment and use of children in armed conflict in Sierra Leone and West Africa.
